Welcome to Enterprise

Welcome to Enterprise and Coffee County! It is a pleasure to welcome you to the City of Progress. Here in Enterprise you will find world-class hospitality, Southern charm and a thriving business community.

Enterprise is best known as the only city in the world with a monument dedicated to an agricultural pest. The Boll Weevil Monument sits proudly in our city’s epicenter as a constant reminder that despite adversity, when a community comes together we can persevere and be incredibly successful.

As a gate city to the Home of Army Aviation at Fort Rucker, and the world’s most beautiful beaches along the Gulf Coast, our community is rich in diversity and patriotism. Our military friends and neighbors have helped us to consistently stay ranked in the top 25 best places to live and retire in many national publications.

Additionally, Enterprise boasts an excellent public school system with three new schools built or rebuilt since 2006. Combined with the opportunity for continued education through Enterprise State Community College, citizens can obtain the knowledge and skills needed to prepare themselves to support the local workforce.

Our community is dedicated to serving the needs of its citizens and guests by providing a variety of places to shop, dine, relax, explore and more. Enterprise is full of opportunities to keep the entire family involved. Take a self-guided walking tour downtown to find many historical markers and murals or visit the Railroad Museum. As you make you way around Enterprise you’ll find many unique retail shops, delicious restaurant options, and rich history. Year-round recreational activities include a public golf course, many city parks and recreational sports complexes, walking trails, fishing pond, picnic areas and even a Bark Park! Throughout the year there are many hosted events, concerts, arts and crafts festivals and theatrical productions.

The Enterprise Chamber is a valuable resource for new residents and visitors alike. It is an honor to assist you in finding local goods and services throughout Enterprise, directions, and general information. Please feel free to contact us any time at (334) 347-0581, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are located at 553 Glover Ave., Enterprise, Alabama, and welcome you to stop by to visit.

We are a thriving community founded on the principle that with the right mix of people, adversity can easily turn into diversity. We are home to a diverse mix of business, agriculture, and industry. Our 27,978 person population allows us to provide a quality of life that integrates small town togetherness with urban vitality. Our community offers many different recreational and educational opportunities and our housing market has options for everyone.
