History

Historic Downtown Prattville & the Daniel Pratt Historic District – Historic Downtown Prattville is a charming local hub of activity. More than two-dozen historic sites are experienced first-hand on historic downtown walking tours operated by the Autauga County Heritage Association. These tours are offered free of charge. Prattaugan Museum & Heritage Center – Operated by the Autauga County Heritage Association, the Prattaugan Museum & Heritage Center is a great way to learn about the history of the area. The museum is housed within an 1840 Greek Revival home and is lined with artifacts and objects depicting the history of Autauga County and Prattville.
