Health Care and Hospitals

Dignity Health Urgent Care

Knowing which health care system to choose can be overwhelming. We provide a higher standard of care by staffing our facility with board-certified doctors and registered nurses who are trained to care for adult and pediatric patients. We offer outpatient laboratory and radiology services. Test results are available electronically to your family doctor or specialist. Camp and sports physicals for children, as well as basic adult physicals are available during normal business hours each day.

Gilbert Hospital

Gilbert Hospital opened in February 2006 and was the first full-service, acute care hospital in the Town of Gilbert. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and offers a complete array of hospital services. Gilbert Hospital is pioneering in its focus on emergency medicine and the rapid, accurate and compassionate care that our entire staff provides.

Gilbert Hospital is the only hospital in the valley that guarantees “door to doc in 31 minutes.” In 2013, the emergency department treated more than 20,000 patients, 97 percent of them were seen by a board-certified physician in less than 31 minutes and the average wait time was six minutes.

IMS Urgent Care

When you or a loved one is hurt, you want the best care. Deciding where to go isn’t always easy. Sometimes, you may need care fast. But a trip to the emergency room may be unnecessary. You may want to try IMS Urgent Care. We can treat your minor ailments. No appointment is needed; IMS urgent care is a walk-in urgent care. Chances are, you won’t wait as long as at the ER.

If it’s not urgent, it’s usually best to go to your own health care provider’s office. Your provider knows you and your health history.

IMS Urgent Care has limited lab onsite for immediate results, as well as limited X-ray capability, but no Ultrasound, CT (CAT) scanners or MRI scanners.

When in doubt, call ahead. If the urgent care can’t accommodate your condition, our knowledgeable staff will advise you to go to the nearest emergency facility. IMS urgent care is also a resource for your sports, school, DOT physicals and Workman’s Compensation Cases.
