Business Services and Support

Sierra Vista is the economic hub of Cochise County. It is home to the region’s largest employer, Fort Huachuca, as well as internationally recognized companies. Small businesses, however, remain the backbone of our community and there are a number of resources available to help those enterprises succeed and grow.

The Sierra Vista Area Chamber is the largest business organization in Cochise County, with more than 650 members. Our organization offers a wealth of benefits and tools to help local businesses, from marketing and public relations to networking and technology.

A free and invaluable consulting service is available through the Small Business Development Center at Cochise College, which also offers classes and seminars throughout the year.

Military

The Sierra Vista Economic Development Foundation recently opened its new Business Complex, which offers affordable space to small or start-up companies.

Help with recruitment, resume writing and many other job-related services is offered by the Southeast Arizona Workforce Connection. The SouthEastern Arizona Governments Organization (SEAGO) performs a variety of functions related to issues such as economic development, transportation and housing.

The Cochise College Center for Economic Research is a invaluable resource for information on regional statistics and trends and produces an annual Economic Outlook publication.
