Where is Covina

Covina enjoys a superior location in the heart of the East San Gabriel Valley. With five major freeways at its borders, Covina has convenient access to all markets in Southern California, including the growing Inland Empire.

The San Bernardino Freeway (10) provides easy access to Los Angeles and other communities to the west; ski resorts and vacation destinations in the San Bernardino Mountains; and the desert beauty of Palm Springs to the east. Served by the Orange Freeway (57) and the Corona Freeway (71) on the east and the San Gabriel River Freeway (605) on the west, the beautiful beaches of Orange County are just a short drive away. The Foothill Freeway (210) leads to Pasadena and the San Fernando Valley to the west, and the Inland Empire to the east.

Metrolink, the region’s commuter rail system, provides an easy commute to Los Angeles and San Bernardino. With a Metrolink station conveniently located on Citrus Avenue in Downtown Covina, commuting from Covina could not be easier.

Plentiful parking is available in the parking structure nearby. Foothill Transit Authority provides local bus transportation, with 36 fixed-route local and express lines serving approximately 15 million passengers yearly. The MTA bus lines also serve the Covina area. For air travelers, the recently expanded LA/Ontario International Airport is just 30 minutes away via the San Bernardino Freeway. Burbank, Long Beach and Los Angeles airports are also within easy driving distance.

Brackett Field and El Monte Airport, both close by, are excellent bases for small aircraft.
