  1. Palm Springs Air Museum
    The Palm Springs Air Museum houses one of the nation’s largest collections of World War II flying aircraft. These planes are displayed in modern, well-lighted, air-conditioned and clean hangars. Our Buddy Rodgers Theater shows daily documentaries related to aviation in the military with an emphasis on World War II.   2. Cabot’s Pueblo Museum
    Cabot Yerxa, one of the original homesteaders in 1913 and recognized as discovering the Desert Hot Springs groundwater, began construction on his Hopi-inspired pueblo in 1941. Cabot’s Pueblo Museum, a Riverside County Point of Historic Interest, and the Pueblo Gallery Art Exhibitions are open daily 9 a.m.-4 p.m. In 1977, sculptor Peter Toth carved “Waokiye,” a 43-foot-tall Indian monument from a 750-year-old Sequoia tree that was struck by lightning and donated to the Museum by the Department of Forestry. https://www.cabotsmuseum.org
