Mission Statement

The El Monte-Rosemead Adult School will be responsive to the diverse student population and the community that it serves. Classes will be offered to enhance the knowledge and skills necessary to participate and communicate effectively as productive citizens, workers, parents and family members in a changing society. It is our goal to help students improve their quality of life by becoming problem solvers and lifelong learners.

El Monte-Rosemead Adult School

Part of the El Monte Union High School District, the El Monte-Rosemead Adult School provides students with a wide selection of classes designed to meet both academic and career objectives. Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the California State Department of Education, the Adult School affords unlimited opportunities through high quality services and education.

At the El Monte-Rosemead Adult School, those enrolled will find programs and classes on adult secondary education, business and marketing, computers and technology, English as a second language and vocational English as a second language, GED preparation and testing, manufacturing and service occupations, medical occupations, parent education, special interest and programs for older adults.
