Location and Transportation

Getting from point A to point B, and everywhere in between, is extremely vital to any community. In Monrovia, there are numerous modes of transportation and roadways that enable commuters to get where they are going.

The 210 Foothill Freeway winds through the city and throughout this quiet portion of Los Angeles County. The 605 Freeway to the east links travelers to other major highway systems in the area.

Looking to save some mileage on the odometer? The Station Square Transit Village, which opened in 2016, is located next to the Historic Santa Fe Depot. Home to the Metro Gold Line Monrovia Station, the station is the largest public works project in the history of Monrovia. Passengers can ride the Gold Line to East Los Angeles, through downtown Los Angeles and connect at Union Station to transfer to the Red and Purple Lines. Those on the go can opt to take a bus via the Foothill Transit Line 270 and Foothill Transit Line 187.

Whether taking a car, train or bus, getting to work, school, home and other destinations is a breeze.
