Recreation

In addition to a newly expanded town recreation center that is “Private Club” quality, there are baseball and softball fields with playgrounds and picnic areas, swimming pools, a skate park, golf courses, numerous public and private tennis courts, and bike paths. You’ll also find dozens of riding clubs, breed organizations, and youth groups with facilities in and around Castle Rock that cater to all types of equestrian interests.

During all times of the year, the Castle Rock Recreation Department conducts recreational leagues in many different sports, including basketball, volleyball, and softball. There are also ongoing recreational activities for everyone from seniors to preschool participants.
