Castle Rock and Douglas County are in the Arapahoe District of the Denver Area Council. County youth have won awards for camping and are involved in everything from bike racing to high adventure canoeing and rafting to The Pinewood Derby.

Girl Scouts Mile High Council
This educational program is carried out in small groups with volunteer adult leadership that provides a wide range of activities developed around the interests and needs of girls. No girl is denied membership. Financial help is available.

4-H Club
The largest youth group in the United States, 4-H is an informal, educational program implemented by volunteers who are managed in Douglas County and counties all over Colorado by local professional staff under the direction of the Colorado State University Cooperative Extension, 410 Fairgrounds Road, Castle Rock, CO 80104.
