Eagle Valley Real Estate

It’s hard to make a bad choice when selecting a place to reside in the Eagle Valley. Anywhere you choose, children can ride their bikes safely on the streets while their parents tend to their yards and gardens.

houses

There are places to fit any need or budget, and every one of them comes with a breathtaking view of the mountains. Eagle has an eclectic mix of older established homes (some with historical significance) surrounding the Historic Central Business District. Many feature mature landscaping. Modern homes surround the area north of the I-70 interchange at Eby Creek Mesa, and many homes are south of town in Eagle Ranch – where additional construction is also in progress.

Village Homes is currently the foremost provider of housing in Eagle Ranch. Nestled in the lush Brush Creek Valley and surrounded by mountain peaks, it is fast becoming the most sought after place in Eagle County to settle. Families and second homeowners love living a serene lifestyle with all the conveniences and delights of a small town just out the door.

Built on the idea of community, Eagle Ranch was painstakingly planned to include the wonderful features of the warmly-remembered hometown where we all grew up or wish we had. The friendly neighborhoods feature front porches, picket fences, cul-de-sacs and tree-lined streets. This is a place where laughing children walk or ride their bikes to the new Brush Creek Elementary School right in the neighborhood. Parents and kids gather in the community park where a huge frontier-town playground offers nonstop fun. In the summer, the park’s stage, grassy lawns, pavilion and community center are a magnet for outdoor concerts, picnics and celebrations of all kinds.

Eagle Ranch Village is emerging as the small-town center of the community. Already the home of a four-plex movie theater, loft residences, offices and restaurants, Eagle Ranch Village will soon include additional shops, a market and a church set around a picturesque town square. Fine dining, boutique shopping and entertainment is within walking distance of most Eagle Ranch homes.

This perfect Rocky Mountain postcard setting is the gateway to the dynamic outdoor lifestyle for which the high country is famous. Mountain bikers and hikers can take to the hills that adjoin Eagle Ranch, and anglers can step out their back doors and tease the trout in the clear, rushing waters of Brush Creek or the Eagle River. Thirteen miles of bike paths wind throughout the community, edging the creek and connecting Eagle Ranch with the nearby historic town of Eagle. Over 140 families now call Eagle Ranch home, with more joining them weekly. Part of this enormous popularity is due to the wide range of living options available. From condos and townhomes to move-in-ready single-family homes and big-view homesites on which to build a custom home.

Gypsum offers several classifications of housing, from upscale Cotton Ranch and Red Hill’s single-family homes to the modular housing of Gypsum Estates. There is also single-family housing with mature landscaping in Eagle River Estates, an older subdivision of Gypsum. Older established homes are the focus of the former central area of town, known as the Bertroch subdivision.

Buckhorn Valley, just south of the Eagle County Airport, is the newest addition to area housing. Homes and homesites are now available in single-family stick-built and modulars, and Buckhorn Valley offers spacious parks, open space, a daycare center and other amenities.

For those interested in rentals, there are many accommodations in Gypsum, including the new 72-unit Mountain Glen Community and numerous townhomes at Quail Run (just off Highway 6). Currently, Chatfield Corners is developing over 200 residences just south of the new schools. There are also numerous apartments and lock-offs, economy-based townhomes and mobile home communities in Eagle and Gypsum. In Dotsero, look for the new Two Rivers development.
