Eagle Valley Mayor's Welcome

The Town of Eagle

Much has changed in 100 years. The air doesn’t smell of cows in the spring these days, and there are just a few cowboys left. Broadway is still our main street; parades are held there in winter and summer.

The historic small-town charm that made Eagle a great place to be back then (we stole the County Seat from Redcliff “fair and square”) continues to make it a competitive magnet community for families in the Eagle Valley, and a great place to do business. It is only going to get better for Eagle.

Contemplate that in the past 10 years, the town has seen its first stoplight and fast food franchise, not to mention its first chain grocery store. We’ve grown at a seven-percent rate for most of the past decade. What a testament to the community that the character of Eagle is stronger than ever!

The past few years have brought public golf and a brand new outdoor pool and indoor ice facility to town. There is, for the first time in many years, a plethora of new housing options. Things are happening in Eagle.

The Town of Eagle is proud of its long-time partnership with the Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the many events sponsored by the Chamber – such as Flight Days, Christmas on Broadway and our recently upgraded 4th of July Celebration that people boast of when they talk about our community.
Take a look around town, come and stay a while and see what we are becoming.

The Town of Gypsum

While the Town of Gypsum is steadily growing, it is also becoming a progressive place to live and work. As Mayor, I am committed to serving and protecting our citizens’ quality of life with strong leadership that supports opportunities for business, recreation and our children. I have and will continue to support policies that reflect this vision.

The Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce has done a great job of supporting residents and businesses in our community. It has done so by providing services that allow people to achieve a higher quality of life. This directory is one example of the Chamber’s commitment to businesses in Gypsum. You can show your commitment by patronizing the businesses displayed in it.

On behalf of the Gypsum Town Council and staff, I want to commend the Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce for its commitment to the success of our residential and business communities. I urge you to use this business directory as a way of demonstrating your own commitment to the economic vitality of Gypsum.
