urgent care

Tri-Lakes residents are afforded access to convenient and quality healthcare services. The area is home to a range of physicians and specialists, and just 20 miles south of Monument, in Colorado Springs, patients take advantage of the outstanding service of several hospitals and health centers.

The award-winning Penrose-St. Francis Health Services operates Penrose Hospital, its anchor hospital, and the state-of-the-art St. Francis Medical Center – the sole full-service hospital serving northern Colorado Springs. The 172-bed hospital opened its doors in August 2008 and offers a long list of modern amenities, including a leading-edge Birth Center, a Level IIIA Neonatal ICU, a Level IV-designated Trauma Center and more. In addition, St. Francis Medical Center is the home base for the Flight for Life air ambulance helicopter service.

Memorial Health System manages more than a dozen facilities in the Colorado Springs area, including three hospitals – Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North and Memorial Hospital for Children (located on the Central campus). Memorial has been serving the community since 1904, and has grown with the community and kept at the forefront of technology. Patients have access to classes, events and health screenings, in addition to outpatient services for disease management, radiology, surgery and inpatient service for cancer care, orthopedics and rehabilitation.

The Tri-Lakes area is also home to the U.S. Air Force Academy’s hospital, which treats Air Force personnel and their families in all areas of medicine. Its modern, 55-bed hospital provides a full range of services, ensuring active and inactive personnel, retirees and their families receive top-notch medical treatment. Additionally, the hospital operates a 24-hour appointment-based clinic and a pharmacy on campus.
