Trinidad, CO Chamber of Commerce

Recent decades have seen the Trinidad area become home to a wide variety of national chain stores and businesses as well as a healthy collection of locally owned retail businesses. From fashion shops to art boutiques and from electronics stores to grocers of all sizes, it is easy for residents and visitors to find just about anything.

The city’s shopping district is located on the streets of Main and Commercial, in the historic section of the city. Downtown streets, paved in Trinidad’s trademark red brick, are marked to highlight significant buildings and events in the city’s history, making an afternoon of shopping an experience in and of itself.

Every Saturday from July through October, citizens can shop at the Farmers’ Market, which is held in Miner’s Memorial Park. The Farmers’ Market gives families and visitors the opportunity to purchase homemade pastries, pies, jams, homegrown flowers, decorative plants, fruits and vegetables, including famous regional green chile.
