Business Services

With its great location and proximity to major thoroughfares, Windsor’s commercial business sector is in prime position for significant growth over the next several years. While downtown Windsor has been home to many independent businesses, the past few years have seen that climate evolve with nationally-known retailers locating in the area. Today, Starbucks coffee shops can be found in both the King Soopers and Safeway grocery stores, while hardware store chains and popular quick service eateries have also moved to the area.

Walgreens opened its doors in Windsor in 2004, and several developers have discussed the possibility of bringing a Walmart, Target, The Home Depot or Lowe’s to the community.

Meanwhile, there are many local retailers that proudly call Windsor their home. With the vast majority of them scattered along Main Street between I-25 and downtown Windsor, these shops offer more personalized service, which consumers don’t usually find at the larger commercial stores.

Insurance agents, banks, accountants, attorneys and more provide a wealth of financial assistance to residents and business owners. Prominent service industries, from electricians to plumbers and builders, also serve the area, along with a selection of beauty salons, spas and healthcare professionals.
