A well-rounded curriculum emphasizes traditional as well as contemporary learning skills to prepare students for the future. The educational system in the Bradford County region is enhanced by tremendous support from the community and local businesses.

Bradford regional students attend five elementary schools and four secondary schools. All of the schools offer an exciting array of extracurricular activities and specialized programs in order to keep students active and foster a lifetime love of learning. Major universities, located within 50 miles from Starke, include University of Florida, Gainesville; Jacksonville University, Jacksonville; and University of North Florida, Jacksonville. The Starke Center of Santa Fe Community College offers a variety of academic courses; the main campus is in Gainesville. Lake City Community College offers a wealth of classes and continuing education programs. Industrial training is offered at Bradford-Union Vocational-Technical Center in Starke.
