Industrial activity abounds in the Bradford region. Ideally situated just 42 miles from the Port of Jacksonville, the area is the center of economic activities such as agriculture, mining, furniture manufacturing, clothing, gasoline, masonry products and more. While manufacturing firms provide a large percentage of the area’s jobs, an influx of new industry has helped diversify the industrial community. Top employers include SMI Joist of Florida, E.I. Dupont, Inc., Brookewood Nursing Center and Gillman Building Products.

Three industrial parks, occupying approximately 320 acres, are located in the Bradford county region. New or relocating companies are welcomed to take advantage of the area’s good industrial climate, and friendly, progressive cities.
