Coral Springs is served by two world-class medical facilities, Broward Health Coral Springs Medical Center and Northwest Medical Center.

In 2004, Coral Springs Medical Center received the Joint Commission on Hospital Accreditations’ Gold Seal of Approval after the quality patient care score hit 99 percent. Surveyors reviewed more than 150 standards in areas like patient care and rights, human resources, leadership, information management, patient and family education, and environment.

In recent years, the hospital launched a Heartburn Center, which specializes in a full array of procedures to treat heartburn and offers all the modalities from diagnostics to therapeutic. In addition, Coral Springs Medical Center has a sleep disorders center, center for wound care and hyperbaric medicine, a wide variety of health education programs and a Women’s Diagnostic Center, offering comprehensive wellness and diagnostic outpatient services for women of all ages.

Founded in 1984, Northwest Medical Center has evolved into a 215-bed medical center and healthcare complex, continuously expanding and bringing on the latest technology to provide state-of-the-art services. Northwest Medical Center is staffed by a diverse multicultural team of nearly 600 physicians and 900 healthcare professionals who recognize and affirm the unique and intrinsic worth of each individual on a daily basis.

Medical services offer programs from labor and delivery to pediatrics to elder care on an inpatient or outpatient basis. Other specialty services that the facility features are bariatric surgery, cardiology, cancer care, a stroke program, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics services, pediatrics, sleep disorders, wound healing center and occupational health services. Northwest Medical Center, a fully accredited hospital, celebrates more than 20 years of caring for families and individuals in northwest Broward County.
