Pasco Community Hospital is a modern health care facility for comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and diagnostic services. Community Hospital of New Port Richey has served residents and visitors for more than 27 years. The hospital is a 414-bed acute care facility offering a wide range of medical and surgical services. Home to the county’s largest full-service emergency department, Community Hospital is also the site of a Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Center and a new Obstetrics Unit. An Outpatient Infusion Center offers patients a comfortable out-of-hospital setting for services such as IV therapies, blood transfusions, and chemotherapy. A wide range of health care services are provided here, including emergency service and specialized care such as speech and hearing therapy, sleep disorder treatment, obstetrics service, and cardiac and cancer treatments. East Pasco Medical Center’s emphasis on wellness is highly regarded. A variety of preventive medicine, educational programs, and exercise classes are offered. In addition, the facility houses a health information library with hundreds of volumes for use by medical professionals and the public. The Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point is a full service healthcare facility with. In addition to Emergency and Same Day Surgery & Treatment Centers, specialized healthcare needs are met by the Heart Institute, Cancer Care Center, and a Neurosurgical Program. U.S. News named Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point as one of the 50 Best Heart Hospitals in the United States. The Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations accredits this hospital, with Commendation. Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point continues to grow and expand its healthcare services, and Expansion 2000 efforts include additional beds, new outpatients services and professional education programs, and increased capacity in intensive care services.
