Learning To Succeed

The Bradford County School District administrative offices are located in Starke. Primary and middle schools within the district include: Starke Elementary School, Southside Elementary School, Lawtey Community School, Brooker Elementary School, Bradford Middle School, Hampton Elementary, and Renaissance Center. Secondary and adult education facilities include Bradford High School and Bradford Union Area Career Technical Center.

The Bradford High School mission statement promises, "Through cooperative teamwork we will promote an enthusiasm for learning and a sense of pride at Bradford High School resulting in self-reliant, productive young people with high aspirations for lifelong success." The Bradford Union Area Career Technical Center strives "to provide a place for high school and adult students to attend day or evening classes on a regular basis to develop job preparatory, adult basic, and community education skills in a safe and caring environment which focuses on individual needs."

The Union County School Board administers Union County High School, Lake Butler Middle School, and Lake Butler Elementary School. The Clay County District Schools Keystone Heights area includes Keystone Heights Elementary School, McRae Elementary School, and Keystone Heights Junior-Senior High School.

Higher education is offered at several local colleges and universities. A few of these include: Santa Fe Community College, Saint Johns River Community College, Central Florida Community College, Florida Community College, the University of Florida and the University of North Florida.
