Rush-Copley Medical Center, founded in 1886, occupies a 142-bed facility on Ogden Avenue (Route 34) and has more than 385 physicians on staff, practicing more than 50 medical specialties. A ranch style two-story building with convenient patient care entrances, Rush-Copley sits on 98 acres of beautiful landscape, offering spectacular views of the Waubonsee Creek and meadows from all patient rooms. A member of the Rush System for Health, the medical center provides cancer care, emergency services, physical rehabilitation, extended care, heart surgery, women and children’s services, and outpatient and home health services. As a partner with Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s in Chicago, Rush-Copley provides unique services and caring specialists. The medical center is equipped with some of the most advanced technology available, including a linear accelerator for radiation therapy in the Cancer Care Center, laser surgery in the Heart Institute, a neonatal intensive care nursery for infants needing special care, an advanced CT scanner and image-guided surgery in the Neuroscience Center.


Founded in 1911 by the Sisters of Mercy, Provena Mercy Medical Center, located on Route 31 in northwestern Aurora, is a 356-bed comprehensive health provider offering a full range of general medical and behavioral health services. More than 350 physicians and an extensive roster of professionals offer cardiac care, run a birthing center, staff a Level II trauma and emergency center, and specialize in a variety of fields including orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, and psychology. Provena Mercy also has The Sister Rita Heart Center, recognized throughout the region as the provider of choice for heart care; The Family Birth Center, committed to high-quality, family-centered maternity services; Behavioral Health Services; Occupational Health Services; Orthopedic Health Services; and a Sleep Disorders Center.

Dreyer Medical Center, established by physicians in 1922, is one of Illinois’ foremost multi-specialty medical groups, with more than 110 physicians representing 27 medical specialties and services.
