Bradley Arts and Entertainment

Finding entertainment in Kankakee County is not a difficult task, especially in Bradley-Bourbonnais. Catch a movie at Cinemark Movies 10 Theatre at the Northfield Square Mall in Bradley, the Meadowview Shopping Center Theatre, or the Paramount Theatre in nearby Kankakee, which is a fascinating 20th-century theatre that has been recently refurbished.

Two of the newest auditoriums in Kankakee County are located at the Bradley-Bourbonnais High School Theatre and the Olivet Nazarene University Auditorium. Both auditoriums present various entertaining productions as well as diverse musical treats.

Since 2002, Olivet Nazarene University has been home to the 2006 NFC Champions Chicago Bears Training Camp. Each summer, thousands of fans visit the Bradley-Bourbonnais community to catch a glimpse of the upcoming season.

Bears

Fans are able to watch the Bears play, get autographs and pictures with their favorite players, and take part in the Bears-hosted “Fan Appreciation Day.” For more information, visit www.olivet.edu.

Local events and celebrations happen throughout the year in Bradley-Bourbonnais. Some of these events include the Bourbonnais Friendship Festival held in June; the Klash on the Kankakee, a two-day event consisting of 18th century camp life involving soldiers and their families, which provides food, games, demonstrations, and a reenactment of a battle between British forces and the American Colonists; The Olde Time Farm Show; Sleepy Hollow; and the lighted Evening Christmas Parade held in Bradley.
