Warren Township High School

Woodland School District 50:

Woodland Community Consolidated School District 50 is one of the largest elementary school systems in the state with approximately 5,700 students. Yet, the district takes pride in providing a small-school comfort level for every child.
It has been 69 years since seven one-room country school districts came together to create Woodland and the schools (numbering five today) continue to evolve to meet the needs of the Gurnee area. It all starts here with building a foundation of learning. Here is what makes Woodland special:

•  Celebrating Differences
More than 40 languages are spoken at home and activities allow children to learn more about different cultures.

•  Dual Language
Kindergarten through fifth grade students may be in a classroom where half of the day is spent speaking only Spanish and half of the day is spent speaking only English.

•  1:1 Technology
Each child in fourth through eight grade has a Chromebook personal computer for learning.
