Downtown Homewood has earned recognition among the top 10 best suburban downtowns in the Chicagoland area (Chicago Tribune). This quaint commercial district is lined with a fine collection of specialty shops and boutiques, dining establishments and service-oriented businesses, all housed within well-maintained Victorian-era structures. Downtown Homewood is a pedestrian-friendly destination that is always bustling with patrons on a search for the perfect gift or a delicious bite to eat. The district also hosts a Downtown Farmer’s Market every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. between June and mid-October.
