We want to introduce you to an exciting community in the heart of Illinois. In this land of Lincoln, you can find a quality of life speckled with family values, belief in education, quality healthcare, diverse community resources for a diverse population, low crime, high expectations, and a place to grow and nurture a family.

McLean County’s geographical location allows individuals to take advantage of easy travel to St. Louis or Chicago or Indianapolis, including traveling the famous Route 66. Although these metro settings are close by, one can find their attributes locally without the hassle of ‘big city’ life. Transportation is available by car through a well maintained and adequate interstate highway system, daily Amtrak trains, a regional airport offering a choice of 4 different carriers and private jet service as well as personal package service, and local bus and taxi service to meet local and regional needs.

Recreation is not a ‘sidebar’ but a mainstay for the area with the continual development of walking trails, parks, professional and amateur sports, family recreation outlets including golf, softball, football, soccer, tennis, Frisbee golf, and climbing walls. There is no lack of recreational activities in the community.

The community is also the location of “hero’s” as well as history. Abraham Lincoln often met and practiced law in Bloomington-Normal, ‘Adlai Stevenson founded his home here. Steak and Shake began its life in the McLean County area, Beer Nuts originate here, Kathryn Beich Candy is here, the Mitsubishi Motors Endeavor is constructed here.

Our small town charm and rural character establishes the McLean County area as a wonderful community in which to live, work, and raise a family. This area prides itself on its forward looking actions to achieve the best for its citizens. It isn’t a community which waits for the world to pass it by but strikes out on new opportunities to achieve success and answers to questions.

Business, residents and employees work together to maintain a great quality of life, a great atmosphere for business and a great arena for education. Is McLean County the place to be? You Betcha!!!
