Day Spas in Naperville

Michael Graham Salon

The Michael Graham Salon has been a fixture in downtown Naperville since 2003 when Sean Graham and a former partner opened it. Today Graham has a second location, as well, in the Naperville Crossings shopping center at the intersection of Route 59 and 95th Street.

The Michael Graham Salon offers a wide variety of hair and nail services, as well as facials and massages. In fact, Graham’s wife, Cindi, is one of the salon’s stylists. Both Cindi and Sean were raised in Naperville and educated at Naperville Central High School. In those days, Cindi was known as Cindi Hinger, Graham noted.

“We see lots of people come in the door that we haven’t seen since high school,” he said. “It is such a small world here. I am surprised by how many people decided, like us, to stay in Naperville.”

“Since we first opened 14 years ago, our business has doubled and we now have 75 employees in the two locations,” he said. Graham himself is not a stylist. He is the firm’s president and as such, he handles the business and marketing operations.

“We offer hair, nail, skin and other services to women, men and children,” Graham said, “using exclusive hair and skin product lines like Oribe, R&Co, Kevin Murphy, Morroccan Oil, SkinCeuticals and Comfort Zone.”

“I feel that what sets us apart from the competition is our huge emphasis on the constant education of our service providers. They are constantly learning,” he added, “so we have extremely low turnover.”

Massage Heights

Massage Heights has become a new “relaxation destination” in Naperville. Opened in November 2016, the “retreat” features 10 individual massage rooms, two couples’ massage rooms and two esthetic rooms for facials.

The Naperville location is the first franchise location within Illinois for the Texas-based Massage Heights entity.

The Naperville Massage Heights, operated by Managing Partner, Carole Holland, offers custom therapeutic massage featuring light, medium, firm or deep pressure, depending upon the needs of the customer and the assessment of the massage therapist – all done on state-of-the-art hydraulic massages tables with high-end linens and quiet private rooms.

Thirty-, 60-, 90- and 120-minute massage and facial sessions are offered, which includes time for changing clothes before and after the session. According to Holland, clients as young as 10 are permitted to be massaged by a therapist of the same gender (with a parent in the room until they turn 16 and with a signed parental release until they turn 18).

The Naperville Massage Heights staff consists of both male and female licensed massage therapists, who conduct no more than six sessions per day in order to preserve their own health and abilities, Holland said.

“Massage is no longer a luxury, it is a necessity” and the secret to receiving an excellent massage is to keep an open/honest line of communication with your therapist, Holland added. “That way, the therapist is able to educate their guest as to their findings and recommend an at home regimen for them to help alleviate some tension until their next visit.”

Massage Heights South Naperville is proud to offer the best custom massage therapy at the most affordable pricing.

Zano Salons and Day Spas

Zano Salons and Day Spas have been a part of the west suburban scene since Denise and Ron Provenzano opened the first salon in Lisle in 1985. Over the next 20 years, five more salons opened and today four remain and flourish – in Lisle, on Ogden Avenue in Naperville, in Batavia and in downtown Naperville (its largest salon). Their two sons, Sam and Nick, have also joined the family business.

The two Naperville salons and day spas offer their clients hair services, nail services, waxing, massages and facials, according to Nick Provenzano, director of marketing.

The Zano salons even offer salon parties for between five and 15 people during which participants can sample several services while enjoying wine, as well as bridal/wedding party hair and makeup packages.

“Our vision is to create a better experience through strong guest relationships, great leadership and education,” he said.

“While we are a higher end salon and spa, we cater to all demographics. We are a community of families here and that is also who we serve,” Nick added. “Naperville has been great to us. Our growth has been similar to the growth of Naperville itself.”

Zano Salons and Spas have been the recipients of countless awards including “Best Salon and Spa” from Naperville Magazine, “Best of the West” from West Suburban Living Magazine and “Best Salon and Spa” from Glancer Magazine.

They also take community service very seriously by supporting local schools and churches, as well as deserving groups such as A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter, the Young Naperville Singers and Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry. The Zano salons also participate in “Salons Unite” to raise funds for ovarian cancer research.

“Zano Salons and Day Spas continue to be leaders in the industry with four full-service salons/spas, a genuine commitment to customer service and the ability to make every employee feel a real part of this ‘family,’” Nick added.
