Northbrook’s already impressive array of shopping centers has recently expanded. In addition to the village’s current millions of square feet of diverse shops, boutiques, stores and restaurants is the new 417,000 square-foot Willow Festival Shopping Center. Just opened in spring of 2007, Willow Festival is ideally located at the bustling northwest corner of Willow Road and Waukegan Road and within a five-mile radius of nearly 230,000 residents.
Major tenants situated in Willow Festival include Best Buy, Lowes, DSW, REI and the popular organic grocery store Whole Foods. Joining these large-scale stores are the businesses and services of American Chartered Bank, Laurens Cleaners, Relax the Back, Salon Cielo and Starbucks, to name a few. In addition, the Willow Festival Annex houses Pinstripes — a bowling alley, bocce ball, and Bistro — and is scheduled to welcome the Sheraton Hotel and Amcor Bank.
In addition, Northbrook Court is the community’s prized 1.01 million square-foot indoor mall. Anchored by Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, Lord and Taylor and the 36,000 square-foot, free-standing Crate & Barrel home store, Northbrook Court is the site of more than 120 eclectic stores, restaurants and entertainment spots. The most recent stores to join the mix are Burberry, Everything but Water and Lucky Brand Jeans, with lululemon athletica, MNG by Mango, Stuart Weitzman, Juicy Couture and Lush ready to open in 2007-2008. Additional popular stores lining the walls of Northbrook Court include Banana Republic, Gap, Coldwater Creek, Abercrombie & Fitch, Coach, Ann Taylor, Ralph Lauren, Nine West, Apple Computer and Movado Watch.
