The hospital houses a state- designated Level I Trauma Center, which treats over 72,000 emergency patients each year, and a Level III Perinatal Center.

ADVOCATE HOPE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Beyond the programs and services of the main hospital campus at Christ Medical Center is the Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital, located conveniently on the Oak Lawn campus. Composed of 45 private inpatient suites, a 15-bed pediatric ICU and a nine-bed pediatric surgical heart unit, Hope Children’s Hospital provides unmatched care for over 4,800 inpatients and more than 90,000 outpatients every year. Located on site is the Heart Institute for Children, a department run by internationally-esteemed heart doctors; and the Keyser Family Pediatric Cancer Center, one of the Midwest region’s largest and most advanced outpatient pediatric cancer programs.
