Board President Welcome

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce exists to connect our local businesses, groups and organizations to each other, and to our residents. We strive to continually offer top-level support, opportunities, networking groups, connections, job postings, hot deals, networking events, educational seminars, legislative forums and much more. We are here not only for the betterment of our businesses and associations, but also our residents.

We look forward to the second annual Business Expo and Community Showcase, offered free to our residents, that lets you discover some of the hidden gems in our business community. Packed with exhibitors, handouts, entertainment and a children’s activity area, the expo will be at Falcon Park Recreation Center on Saturday, November 11, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Did you know that $48 of a $100 purchase stays in our town when you shop at an independent local store in Palatine, but just $1 stays in Palatine when you shop at a remote online store? This fall we are rolling out our new “Think Local” program to educate our residents on the importance of supporting our local retail shops, service providers, banks, restaurants, organizations and more.

Small business is the heart and engine of our economy, and the Chamber’s Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is a shining example of how we can harness and grow some great and innovative ideas from our District 15 junior high school students.

Please call, stop by or check us out online at palatinechamber.com. Remember we are here for you, and look forward to any opportunity we have to grow our business community.
