Cantigny Park: In nearby Wheaton, Cantigny Park offers two museums, expansive gardens and a 27-hole golf course, plus special events, concerts, lectures and workshops throughout the year.

Professional Baseball: In nearby Geneva, the Kane County Cougars, a Class A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, entertains baseball fans of all ages from April through early September.

Parks, Trails and Forest Preserves: Western DuPage is filled with natural landscapes for outdoor fun. The Illinois Prairie Path is a 62-mile-long trail that runs right through Western DuPage and can be used for walking, jogging, bike riding, and horseback riding. The DuPage Forest Preserve District is one of the oldest in the country and provides hiking, camping, fishing, picnicking, swimming, boating and more. There are also several parks for picnics, reunions, sporting events or just getting some fresh air.

Wiggly Field Dog Park: Within Reed-Keppler Park in West Chicago is the private, permit-only Wiggly Field Dog Park, a great place to bring your dog for some leash-free fun and exercise.
