Tourism

graphicBrownsburg is the quiet rest spot away from the activities in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. Local museums include The Children’s Museum, Indianapolis Art Museum and Eiteljorg Museum of the American Indian.

Sports in Indianapolis include the Indianapolis Colts, Indians Baseball, the Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Ice. Indianapolis is also considered the Amateur Sports Capital of the United States and was the recent sponsor of the Pan-Am Games as well as dozens of other championship events.

The proximity of IRP, home of the NHRA U.S. Nationals, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the Indy 500 and Brickyard 400, attributes to Brownsburg’s focus on racing. Over two dozen drivers and sponsors live in the area and a number of small shops sell race-related products and services throughout the world.
