Leadership White County
In 2009, White County kicked off its first Leadership White County initiative. The Leadership White County vision is “to foster leadership development and community volunteerism by providing the opportunity for White County citizens to enhance their leadership skills, civic enthusiasm and knowledge of community issues.” Classes are conducted bi-annually.

Community Foundation of White County
What’s your legacy? The mission of the Community Foundation is “to inspire people to strengthen White County through charitable giving.” Since its inception in 1998, nearly $4 million in charitable grants have been awarded from the Foundation’s 80+donor funds.

Boys & Girls Club of White County
The Boys and Girls Club “provides an outstanding club experience for every young person who enters our doors.” The Club is dedicated to “fostering individual and group success by building foundations of good character, responsible citizenship and healthy lifestyle choices.”

White County United Way, Inc.
Founded in 1967, White County United Way is dedicated “to help unite the community in mobilizing its resources to meet human needs.” Annually donations support 12 area nonprofit agencies.

White County Council on Aging
White County Council on Aging Center provides services to senior citizens and their families. Their mission is “to foster a better quality of life for individuals, families and communities.” They offer adult daycare services, nutritional sites, homebound assistance, activities, and transportation.
