Recreation and Attractions

The quality of life continues to get better in Henry County. The county is host to several beautiful parks and recreational opportunities.

Memorial Park
The 362-acre Memorial Park is the largest county-owned park in the state. Many shelter houses and log cabins are available for picnics and family reunions, and the gently rolling terrain is dotted with ponds, wildlife and woods. The Henry County Saddle Club has one of the finest equestrian show facilities in the state of Indiana here and hosts shows and clinics almost weekly throughout the season. If golf is your game, the Henry County course is located in the park too. Five other courses are available throughout the Henry County landscape ranging from 92-130 slopes. Be sure to try them all.
