Things to See and Do
North Scott is perfectly located to give visitors access to an array of activities. The Quality Inn & Suites located in Eldridge is the perfect starting point. In addition to local attractions, the neighboring Quad Cities offer countless shopping, dining and entertainment options — including riverboat gambling, professional sports, museums, and concert productions.
Pioneer Village: Walnut Grove was a Scott County crossroads settlement and stagecoach stop of the 1860s. Pioneer Village includes 18 historic buildings, some relocated from rural Scott County. Located on the north side of Scott County Park.
Buffalo Bill Homestead: This homestead was built by Isaac Cody, Buffalo Bill's father. Live buffalo and historic 1847-farmhouse tour.
Quad City Air Show: Held annually in June at the Davenport Airport.
The Putnam Museum & IMAX Theatre: Just minutes from Eldridge, the award-winning museum features exhibits that will transport you to different eras and different places. The IMAX movie screen is big enough to show a life-sized whale — five stories high and seven stories wide.
