Silver City

Silver City was incorporated in 1883 and was a vital part of the state with its agriculture, lumberyard and horseracing track. Today, it is a favorite stopping place for cyclists riding from Council Bluffs on the Wabash Nature Trail. With 259 citizens, the city has a mayor and council, as well as volunteer fire and ambulance services.
