Marshalltown prides itself on having a progressive and diversified community – a quality easily visible through the medley of faith communities established here. Nearly 40 houses of worship call Marshalltown home, representing a wide variety of belief systems.
Both traditional and contemporary worship services held throughout the week are complemented by a wide assortment of spiritual services and programs for all ages. Youth groups, faith-based education, support fellowships, community-wide events and the like fortify the offerings of each distinct place of worship. A great majority of the area’s fellowships are highly active in the general community as well, working together for the betterment of the community as a whole.
