It is no surprise that the population of Central Louisiana is quickly on the rise. The area’s economy is thriving, bringing in more big businesses every year, which in turn offers a higher employment rate. The region is also the site of top healthcare facilities, excellent educational opportunities from day care for children through higher education for adults, plentiful recreational areas and easy access to shopping, dining and entertainment. All of this and more have attributed to the area’s growing quality of life. In fact, Alexandria moved up to 199 spots to 77th for top overall city by Inc.com in April of 2007.

A wealth of affordable new housing developments are sprouting up all over the Central Louisiana area, many in the later phases of construction.

Additional properties include Bocage and Fortune Loop, with home prices available between $140,000 and $185,000.

What’s more, new homes are being built off of Highway 165 North in the Ball area, as well as in the Pollock area off of Highway 8. These newest housing developments provide acreage, as opposed to the smaller subdivision lots offered in the areas named above.

The majority of Central Louisiana’s neighborhoods are located within reach of the region’s significant amenities.

Educational institutions, medical facilities and retail centers are just a few of the resources residents have easy access to. There is certainly something for everyone in one of Central Louisiana’s neighborhoods.
