Finding a place to kick your feet up and stay a while is no hassle here. There are more than five hotels in Pikesville all ready to serve your every need whether you’re a big spender or on a budget. The Hilton of Pikesville, a favorite of locals and tourists, is located just off I-695 and is the perfect location to tour the town on foot or by car and visit other Maryland destinations. Equipped with luxurious amenities such as shuttle services, a fitness center, delicious Sunday brunch, a pool and conference rooms for large and small parties, the Hilton of Pikesville wants to ensure that your stay is nothing less than enjoyable no matter what your reason may be for traveling. Other hotels in the area include the Ramada Inn and Howard Johnson located on Reisterstown Road, less than one mile from the heart of Pikesville.

The hotels have a lot to offer, but don’t forget to get out and grab a bite to eat! With over 20 eateries with a wide array of cuisines to choose from, Pikesville has something to please everyone’s taste buds and wallet. If you’re in the mood for Mexican, don’t hesitate to stop into the Zagat-rated Mari Luna Mexican Grill or Latin Grille. Serving up inexpensive fresh and authentic Mexican and Latin dishes daily from stuffed enchiladas and chimichangas to Peruvian chicken and salads makes this place an all-time favorite. Also, try some of the many restaurants that cater to the kosher needs of the Jewish community of Pikesville like Edmart Deli or Goldberg’s NY Kosher Bagels, just to name a few serving favorites like Matza Ball Soup and Lox. The possibilities are endless between the local fare and large number of popular chain restaurants available, such as Ruth’s Chris and Cosi, also located on Reisterstown Road.

You don’t have to be here long to see that we’re a small town with lots of character and a big heart. Since it is home to residents of all ages, the Chamber has made it a priority to put on yearly events that everyone can enjoy. Participate in the Pikesville 5k held every year in July. The race is one of the most highly publicized and attended events in Pikesville, with proceeds benefiting the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center.

Wait! Before you leave don’t forget to stop by the farmers’ market held on Tuesdays, June through October, and pick up some fresh fruits and vegetables.
