Towson offers many venues for shopping and entertainment for visitors, residents and employees of our local businesses. The downtown business core area offers a good mix of unique shops, restaurants and pubs, concert theater and service oriented businesses to accommodate everyone’s needs.
The Towson Town Center is a major regional shopping center with over 200 specialty stores, two major department stores – Hecht’s and Nordstrom’s and many themed restaurants. Towson Commons is a multi-use complex with an office tower, 10 screen movie theaters, and restaurants. Dulaney Plaza shopping center provides all of the shops associated with the traditional neighborhood, including supermarket, wines and spirits, florist, hairdresser, furniture, card and gift shop, etc. The shops at Kenilworth is an enclosed mall with two unique anchors, a hardware and gift store and a men’s clothing store, as well as many small shops and eateries. Towson Circle is an award-winning example of a renovated abandoned downtown department store that has a specialty grocery store, bookstore, gym and many other shops to attract visitors to the downtown core.
