Chanhassen is host to unique shops and businesses offering a wide range of products and services. Located within the heart of the downtown business district, shops range from chain grocery stores to specialty shops. Some of the unique downtown shops include a custom bicycle shop, well-known Minnesota quilt shop, toy store, home furnishings and furniture, plus an award-winning day spa, just to name a few.

When Market Square Shopping Center opened in 1992, it brought Chanhassen its first full-service grocery store. Located on West 78th and Market Boulevard, today visitors to the center will not only find a grocery store but a hardware store, drug store, restaurants, and more. graphic

Just a short walk away is the West Village Center, with several shops including a gourmet grocery store with a resident culinary specialist ready to help you plan any special event! In 1995, The Minnesota Shopping Center Association honored this center with an award for the best new retail shopping center over 100,000 square feet.

Located in the westerly part of the city, south of Highway 5, fronting Highway 41, is a collection of businesses specializing in the home, from complete home remodeling to fixtures, furniture and floor coverings.

If dining options are what you’re looking for, Chanhassen’s restaurants range from fast food chains, ethnic food, and family friendly diners to those specializing in unique American-style cuisine. Whatever your palate is craving, you’re sure to be satisfied at any of our dining establishments.
