Anoka County provides a lively home for the arts. Theater groups include the Lyric Arts Theater Company (763-422-1838), which stages plays and musicals in its recently remodeled building at 5th and Main in Anoka. Other groups are Playhouse 15 (763-434-3132) in St. Francis, the Revolution performance group in Anoka (763-506-6355), Riverside Theater in Coon Rapids (763-441-9708), and Seasons Players in Blaine (763-755-9458). The theater departments at Anoka High School (763-506-6200) and Anoka-Ramsey Community College (763-422-3572) also stage perennially outstanding performances.
Public musical groups include the Lake Wobegon Brass Band (763-427-2790), North Suburban Concert Band (763-784-8997), Northeast Orchestra (763-571-3063), Anoka-Ramsey College Concert Band (763-422-3306) and the Fridley City Band (651-488-9296).

Arts organizations include Artists del Norte (763-757-1712) and the Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts (763-574-1850). The Anoka County Arts Alliance (ACAA)

The Anoka County History Center (763-421-0600) has moved its library and museum into new quarters at 2135 Third Avenue N. in Anoka.
