Mayor’s Message

Mayor’s Message Greetings: In Saint Paul, the Most Livable City in America is more than a slogan. It is a fact we are building, and thanks to you — Saint Paul’s business community — our residents, workers, and visitors have access to services and amenities that make life good.

Your partnership and investment in our community has made the past two years great for Saint Paul. Improvements at Holman Field, Trader Joe’s, and welcoming the Republican National Convention are highlights of how our collaboration is improving the environment in which we live, work, and play.

At the heart of our effort is our greatest achievement, securing funding for the Central Corridor — a project that represents the future of our City. We will continue to work together and move this billion dollar investment in our community forward and finally realize our goal of building a multi-modal transportation system that will serve the entire East Metro region.

This project is just the start of our long-term plan to keep Saint Paul strong, safe, and open for business. We are investing in our mutual interest in creating a healthy community that serves our residents and business community. We are building strong neighborhoods. We are ensuring all of our children have quality educational opportunities. We are creating city services that are valuable and beneficial for property and business owners. And, we are doing it all with your support.

Saint Paul is a great place to live, and through our work together, we are also making it a place to do business. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to Saint Paul — and for helping us make it the Most Livable City in America.
