Alcorn School District

In the Alcorn School District, we take seriously our motto: “Children – Our #1 Priority.” Each student, as an individual, is important to us. Each student is a special somebody and so is each parent. Our schools embrace this attitude and provide excellent educational opportunities for all our students.

The mission of the Alcorn School District is to promote a life-long love of learning that enables students to master the skills necessary for success in a rapidly changing, technical world. Progress toward accomplishing our mission can be observed by the national, state, and local recognition our students and schools receive.

Visit our website at www.alcorn.k12.ms.us, which serves as a great place to find more information about our schools. The district pages will provide you with information concerning our District Report Card, Test Data, Curriculum, and other items of interest. A virtual visit to our school campuses is also available from the district homepage.

Still need more information? We invite you to visit our schools. Please call the school directly and the principal will gladly arrange a personally guided tour. Come and see our facilities, but even more importantly, come talk to our people – visit with our teachers, observe daily operations. You can see first hand that we take our motto, “Children – Our #1 Priority” very seriously. Come visit – you’ll be glad you did!
