Arnold’s locality places it at the convergence of the Meramec River and the Mighty Mississippi River, in the beautiful scenery of eastern Missouri. Area communities are conveniently located along the Interstate 55 corridor, a vital portion of the regional highway network. I-55 winds down through downtown St. Louis, which is reachable within 20 minutes from the Arnold area, and offers easy access to Interstates 44, 255 and 270.

Affordable public transportation can be utilized through the services of the St. Louis metropolitan area’s public transit system, Metro. Arnold’s Richardson Road park-and-ride lot offers a connection to MetroBus routes, while additional nearby stations provide access to MetroLink light rail routes.

Air travel is found nearby at the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (STL), which provides services through a number of major airlines. A major expansion program, instituted in 1992 to better serve the travel needs of the St. Louis region, was completed and opened to the public in 2006.
