To complement the area’s well-received quality of life, Creve Coeur has several peaceful city parks that are perfect for walking, hiking, dog walking, organized sports, birdwatching and more.

Millennium Park

Located near Mason and Olive, this 25-acre park features two playgrounds, a swing set area with accessible swing chair, interactive zero depth splash pad, a paved walking trail, restrooms and soccer and baseball fields. Millennium Park is also home to the historic Tappmeyer Homestead, a restored 19th-century farmhouse that is available for rental for your next meeting or reception.

Conway Park

Located on Conway Road, immediately west of I-270, this park is home to the city’s dog park, a one mile walking paved trail, two tennis courts, a playground and restrooms. Conway Park is also home to the historic Clester and Hackmann log cabins.

Beirne Park

Located on Country View Drive, this 7.5-acre park features new playground equipment, spacing a brand new accessible playground structure, a paved trail, three tennis courts, a soccer field, a multipurpose sports field, a picnic pavilion, barbecue grills and restrooms.

Other Creve Coeur parks in the area include Fountain Park, Lake School Park, LaVerne Collins Park, and Malcolm Terrace Park.

Dielmann Recreation Complex

Creve Coeur operates the Dielmann Recreation Complex, which offers a nine-hole public golf course and an indoor ice arena, which is open year-round. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, the golf course offers junior and senior rates and yearly passes. The course is Par 35 for men measuring 2,977 yards and Par 36 for women measuring 2,419 yards. The course hosts women’s leagues on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings and men’s leagues on Monday evenings from April through October. Summer junior camps are available for ages 7 – 14 and junior punch cards may be purchased for the avid junior player. The golf course also offers several tournaments and group outings each year.

The Creve Coeur Ice Arena is home to the St. Louis Rockets Hockey Club, the Creve Coeur Figure Skating Club and the North Stars Synchronized Skating Team. Stop by the Ice Arena for public session skating, to play hockey, stick-n-puck or to register for learn to skate classes. Skate rental and sharpening services are available. Schedule your special group outings or birthday parties year-round.

The Dielmann Recreation Complex offers lunch and dinner packages for golf, meetings and parties. Meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 50 people and offer unparalleled views of the golf course are available daily and for evening hours.

In addition to the amenities at the Dielmann Recreation Complex, Creve Coeur residents can also enjoy Maryland Heights’ Aquaport at resident rates. Aquaport is a four-acre water park which features five slides, a lazy river, a zero-depth pool and a kiddie pool.

Olivette has 94 acres of parkland separated into five city parks.

Stacy Park

The largest of the city’s parks is Stacy Park, which at 35 acres features a pavilion, fitness path, baseball fields, picnic tables, playgrounds, open athletic fields and a basketball court.

Other parks include Irv Zeid Citizens Park, Villa Park, Indian Meadows Park and Warson Park, which include an equally wide range of facilities such as athletic fields, playground equipment and pavilions as well as picnic and barbecue facilities. A 7.6-mile bikeway/trail through the city connects all five parks.

Additionally, the Olivette Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of programming for all ages throughout the year. The department operates recreational youth sports, which include soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter and baseball and softball in the spring. A Summer Adventures Camp is held at the Community Center with field trips, swim days, games and crafts. Several summer sports camps are also offered such as the British Soccer Camp and baseball camps. An adult softball league is held both in the spring and summer for men’s and co-ed teams. The center also sponsors special events programming.
