The Creve Coeur-Olivette community has a long-standing reputation for providing outstanding private, parochial and public educational opportunities. Served by four public school systems, Parkway, Ladue, a very small part of Pattonville and Special School District as well as more than 30 private and parochial schools, area residents have access to some of the finest educational facilities in the country.

The Parkway School District serves the majority of Creve Coeur and is one of the largest in the region with a total enrollment around 18,000 students in 18 elementary schools, five middle schools, five high schools and an early childhood center. The Pattonville School District serves the northeast portion of unincorporated St. Louis County with an approximate enrollment of 7,000 students.

The Ladue School District serves the city of Olivette and the eastern part of Creve Coeur, with one early childhood center, four elementary schools, one middle school and one senior high school, with a total enrollment of approxinately 4,000 students. The high school offers an expanded curriculum and has the honor of more National Merit Semifinalists than any other public school in the state.

Special School District has become an icon for special education and technical education over the past half century. The district partners with 22 school districts in St. Louis County to ensure all local students receive equal access to quailty special and technical education. The district’s Career and Technical Education Division operates two technical high schools with more than 30 programs in a wide range of technical areas. For more information, visit www.ssdmo.org.

Many of the finest private schools in the St. Louis region are members of the Creve Coeur-Olivette Chamber including Andrews Academy, Chaminade College Preparatory School, Hope Montessori Academy, Logos School, Westminster Christian Academy and Whitfield School.The choice to pursue higher education is made easier given the location and easy access to a number of colleges and universities.

Traditional colleges and universities that are affiliated with the Creve Coeur-Olivette Chamber of Commerce include Lindenwood University, Missouri College, University of Missouri, Columbia (home of the Mizzou Tigers) and Webster University – Westport Campus.

Specialty schools include Covenant Theological Seminary, DaySpring School of the Arts, The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute and Vatterott Educational Centers.
