The Creve Coeur-Olivette area is home to St. Louis County’s largest medical facilities including St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, Missouri Baptist Medical Center, Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital.

St. John’s Mercy Medical Center is a 979-bed comprehensive teaching hospital and one of the largest Catholic hospitals in the country. The 80-acre campus features a Heart and Vascular Hospital, a 100,000-square-foot Cancer Center and St. Louis County’s only full-service children’s hospital.

St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, a 493-bed, not-for-profit hospital founded in 1866, is another healthcare option in the Creve Coeur-Olivette area. The hospital is faithful to its Episcopal-Presbyterian heritage and is committed to improving the community’s health one patient at a time. In 2010, a St. Luke’s Urgent Care Center opened in Creve Coeur to provide professional medical attention for the treatment of minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment.

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is a 489-bed acute care hospital. It is part of the BJC Healthcare family, one of the most respected systems in the country. It is a leader in open heart surgery, operates a nationally recognized cancer-care program, and offers orthopedic, gastrointestinal and women’s health services.

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is conveniently located just west of I-270 on Olive Blvd. in the heart of Creve Coeur. It is committed to offering a unique model that is a mix of Washington University, BJC Medical Group and private physicians. In 2008, the Siteman Cancer Center was added to the campus. The new center makes it easy for patients to receive world-class cancer care close to home.
