Parks & Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department operates six public parks totaling more than 90 acres that contain playgrounds, athletic fields, and tennis and volleyball courts. The department also offers a wide variety of programs and activities, including fitness classes, summer camps, concerts and movies in the park. For more information, call 636-938-6775.
The Meramec River also offers recreational opportunities and can be accessed at several locations in the Eureka area.
The Eureka Sports Association coordinates the City’s youth athletic programs. There are currently over 1,000 children involved in these programs. For more information, please visit www.eurekasports.com.
A new 60,000 square foot Recreation Center is in the final planning stages, as is a 400-acre park that will contain athletic fields, nature trails, lakes and wetlands.
