Parks and Recreation

Throughout the area the Community Association has built a number of parks for picnicking and enjoying the outdoors. Hike and bike trails abound within beautiful wooded neighborhoods and parks.

Athletes of all ages and abilities enjoy lighted tennis courts, lighted softball and soccer fields and horseback riding. Lake Saint Louis has two parks that are developed – Boulevard Park, which has a large pavilion for outdoor barbecues and play areas for children, and Founders Park (host to various regional and national tournaments) on the western edge of the city, which feature lighted baseball diamonds, soccer fields and a playground. Two other parks will soon open. One will feature a playground for children of all abilities and the second will have paths along a creek and through a forest.

The Community Association Club House on Lake Sainte Louise is a meeting place for many social and professional organizations, making getting acquainted easy and fun. A new children’s swimming/wading pool, is complete with fountains, palms, and a pirate ship. A new adult swimming pool makes it a popular summer gathering place. A sand beach adjoining the clubhouse and pool gives swimmers lake access and volleyball players a first-class court. The Main Marina, one of 13, has recently been enlarged, providing additional slips and new pavilions.

Golf
Two courses at Lake Saint Louis – the par-three Community Association Golf Course, and Lake Forest Country Club and Golf Course – offer variety and challenge for the occasional and the avid golfer.

Lake Saint Louis Country Club: C.A. Members
The Country Club is situated on Lake Sainte Louise and serves as the hub of many of the activities of the community. It is also the starting post for the par-three golf course, enjoyed by both beginner and seasoned golfer.

Lake Forest Golf and Country Club: Private Membership
Lake Forest is nestled in the wooded hills above the Lake Saint Louis/Dardenne Prairie Area. Membership classifications include: Regular Membership, Junior Executive, Single, Corporate Membership, Corporate Social, and Social. Although Lake Forest is a private club, Lake Saint Louis/Dardenne Prairie Area residents may play by paying a daily greens fee. Lake Forest is an 18-hole PGA course, and has been host for the Nike Tour.

Equestrian
Lake Saint Louis Stables offer boarding for horses and lessons in horseback riding. America’s Exposition Park is also located in Lake Saint Louis is host to world-class equestrian events year-round.

The Links at Dardenne
The Links at Dardenne, located in Dardenne Prairie of O'Fallon, Missouri, is an 18-hole, championship golf course. Equipped with modern amenities, golfers can expect to find expansive Zoysiagrass fairways and tees, as well as pristine bentgrass greens.
