Health Care

Thanks to the state’s strong emphasis on quality health care and healthy lifestyle choices, combined with the availability of year-round recreational spaces. Missouri boasts one of the highest life expectancy rates nationwide. State and local governments aim to provide residents with access to the most comprehensive, cost-effective health care services and programs.

The area is home to a number of physicians representing a long list of medical specialties and subspecialties. Dentists, chiropractors, pediatricians, optometrists and others have all made a home in South County. Local residents are also able to utilize the greater St. Louis area’s wealth of exceptional community hospitals, specialty clinics, urgent care centers and a coordinated network of emergency services.
